    Used for producing fine wire with tight dimensional control, the dead block coiler performs single-pass drawing to achieve diameters below 0.01 mm, maintaining tolerances within ±0.01 mm. It is commonly applied in the processing of low-carbon steel grades such as Q195, Q235, 1008, and 1006, as well as other soft metals requiring high ductility. Wire is taken up directly onto stem carriers, helping maintain coil stability and reducing deformation during handling. This configuration is especially suitable for setups focused on compact coil formation and consistent output.

    • Pay-off stand: Holds round wire coils; includes automatic deviation and tension control to prevent tangling. Also features wire break and tangle detection for uninterrupted operation.
    • Drawing unit: Main drive consisting of a variable frequency motor, dual capstans coated with tungsten carbide, and a flexible take-up arm for coiling on stem carriers.

    • Control unit: Siemens PLC with integrated HMI interface for real-time monitoring of drawing force, speed, coil weight, and wire specifications.

    Single block wire drawing machines are suitable for drawing low-carbon steel wire, such as Q195, Q235, 1008, and 1006, into thinner diameters. They’re often used in the production of screws, nuts, washers, nails, mesh, tie wire, and other wire-based products that require consistent diameter and surface finish.

    • Our single block wire drawing machines use high-durability dies made from tungsten carbide, PCD (polycrystalline diamond), or nano-coated materials. Dies can be replaced quickly to adapt to different wire diameters.
    • Automation is supported through an integrated PLC and touchscreen interface, enabling real-time adjustment of drawing speed and tension for smooth, continuous operation.

    Each coil takes approximately 50 seconds to complete the drawing process, depending on wire size and production setup.

    Switching to better-quality wire, reducing winding tension, or replacing worn guide rollers can help resolve breakage issues. Regular maintenance of wire path components also helps prevent disruptions.
